Gailya joins Ohr Torah this year as the Director of Development. She and her three children moved to Cincinnati two years ago. Her drive and motivation to come on board stem from a rich history in Business Development. As a senior member of her family’s business for three years she gained first hand knowledge into technology, systems management and development of donor (or consumer) relationships. She has spent a lot of her time working with police agencies, fire departments, military and federal agencies to secure funding for the life saving gear they need. Working with such hardworking organizations like the police, fire departments and federal agencies instilled a sense of purpose with in her. When she found a way to pair this passion with another great passion of hers, the Jewish community she moved to the Amberly area to pursue that dream.
Since, she has consulted with local nonprofits and enjoys working with organizations that are rooted in making valuable contributions to the Jewish community. Naturally, Ohr Torah was a great fit. She has a passion for donation management, and regularly spends all her free time researching, studying and perfecting her ability to apply that to the non-profit sector. Her passion for the Jewish community and support of the Ohr Torah vision stem from her commitment and love for her three children, who will all be attending their first year at Ohr Torah for the 2018/2019 school year.
