Morah Melina began her journey with Montessori Education over 10 years ago when she received a Bachelor of Science in Montessori Education from Xavier University in 2007. Upon graduation, Melina joined the Infant/Toddler program at Central Montessori Academy, and during her time there continued her love of the philosophy by completing an Infant/Toddler Montessori certification, as well as an AMS certification from GCCME. During her teaching, Melina was nominated for a Cincinnati Business Courier Magazine Green Business Award for her work in developing a children’s gardening program at CMA. She is looking forward to continuing her love of nature at OTC and hopes to implement gardening into the preschool and kindergarten program in the spring. During her time at home, Melina enjoys being outdoors, and spending time with her family, especially hiking and taking day trips with her husband Alex, and son Simon.
