At Ohr Torah, we believe it takes a community to raise competent, confident, and kind individuals who will be true assets to the future of Klal Yisrael. Education does not happen in isolation. It is strongest and most meaningful when school and home work together with shared values, open communication, and mutual respect.
We see parents as partners in their children’s growth. In order to help each child reach their fullest potential academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, we believe in building strong relationships with our families. When children see that the important adults in their lives are aligned and connected, they thrive.
For this reason, we place great value on parent education and meaningful parent involvement. We offer opportunities for learning, discussion, and collaboration so that parents feel informed, supported, and empowered. Through parent education initiatives and an active Parent Teacher Association, we work to create a complete picture of each child and a cohesive, supportive school community.
Together, as partners, we can nurture students who are not only successful learners, but thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate members of Klal Yisrael.

At Ohr Torah, we are deeply grateful for our meaningful partnership with Jewish Family Service. JFS plays an important role in supporting our students and families in both practical and personal ways.

Through on-site counseling services, JFS provides caring and professional support to students in a familiar and comfortable environment. Having access to these services within the school setting allows students to receive guidance as they navigate social, emotional, and personal challenges, helping them grow with confidence and resilience.
In addition, JFS generously provides food and fresh produce for our school. Their commitment to ensuring access to healthy, nutritious snacks allows our students to enjoy fresh options each day. Thanks to their partnership, we are also able to reduce the need for large sharing baskets, allowing each child to benefit more directly and with dignity.
